Russian swimming championship is smoothly flowing to its final embarcadero. Without special splashes, but with several excellent results, giving to their owners right to participate in World championships in Kazan. On the third competitions’ day flashed Vladimir Morozov with two golden victories in 100 free and 50 breast, and Anastasia Fesikova, after one year returned to big swimming, in 50 m back.
Morozov gave to this rivals no chances in final race in 100 m free and won this distance with a best season’s result in the World (47,98). A hotshot struggle for silver medal and a second thicket to Kazan’s swimming World championship won Alexandre Sukhorukov (48,33), surpassed another favourite Danila Izotov (48,41). Results of our swimmers give to Russian relay’s team rather good chances in coming fight against strongest national swim teams: French “musketeers”, American “cowboys”, Australian “aborigines” and South African “Zulu”. And now, after only 30 minutes after his triumph in 100 m free, Morosov was the first in 50 m breast (27,37), receiving his second personal pass to World championships.
Final race in W50 m back was dominated by Anastasia Fesikova (Zueva before marriage), who missed practically one competition’s year after wedding and first-born. Anastasia’s victorious result (28,18) guarantees her participation in national team in World swimming championships in Kazan.
