After preceding brilliant victory of famous Russian water ballet dancers Natalia Ishchenko and Svetlana Romashina in the free routine duet’s final at the Olympic Games-2016 in Rio-de-Janeiro, Russian synchronized swimming team dominated with its fantastic performance in the free routine final program.
Russia claimed the nation’s fifth straight synchronized swimming team Olympic gold in a very happy for it water of the Rio’s Aquatic centre. The “Angels” free routine scored 99,1333 points. Their total gold final team’s score, including the best technical routine, is really cosmic (196,1439 points).
Over three points behind Russian Mermaids set the team of China. Performing its water composition “Finding Dragon” in the free routine, Asiatic synchro swimmers scored 97,3667 points with a final total of 192,9841 points and the earned the second straight Rio-2016 Games’ silver medal.
With the final score of 189,2056, including 95,433 in the free routine, Japanese took home the bronze of the event and were very happy for it in the podium.
In Rio-2016 Russian Natasha Ishcenko and Sveta Romashina posted their fifth Olympic gold in a row after their triumphs in Beijing-2008 and London-2012.
